4.5 Out Of 5

Loki is all about Loki, and this episode ups the ante with a dozen of them. Trapped at the end of time, our hero finds himself surrounded by versions of him who did something to be sent here. One faked his death by Thanos, one killed the wrong cat, and one, soberingly, killed Thor. But sent to the end of all by the Time Agents - for this is what their pruning sticks really do - all they can do is run and reminisce. A life-eating storm named Alioth will kill them if they try anything else.

L-R: Boastful Loki, Alligator Loki, Kid Loki and Classic Loki

But naturally our hero won’t be slowed down. While Sylvie tries to reach him on the other side, he conspired with an older version of himself (Richard E. Grant), a younger version (Jack Veal), and an allegedly warrior version (Deobia Operai).

The episode is great; Lokis are always charming. The setting of the episode is fantastic as end-of-the-world settings go. And the mystery - which is mainly answered on Sylvie’s side of things - finally starts getting some answers. With a finale that promises to answer some questions, the last episode in a week’s time is sure to blow some minds.

Loki is available to watch on Disney+
